Undertaker and John Cena WrestleMania 32 Feud Sparks Controversy

Wrestlemania 32 has become a center for feud. Among the wrestlers slated to appear are John Cena and the Undertaker--who have been steeped into a continuing dispute over whether Cena will be the one to end the Undertakers winning streak.

WWE's World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, has sustained a catastrophic knee injury that has put him out of commission for what the company is calling 6-9 months (yet most people would assume longer than that). Because of this, the WWE has lost someone who was going to be a large part of their plans for WrestleMania 32, which the company wants to make one of the biggest event's in their history.

By holding a championship tournament to crown a new victor at the Survivor Series, the WWE can go in several directions. First, they should put the title on a sure fire superstar that has held the company up before. Since John Cena is not there, it should go to the Undertaker.

Second, since his unimpressive bout with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX, Undertaker has gotten into great shape and has put on some great matches. These include a showdown with Lesnar at Summerslam and Hell in a Cell as well as carrying an injured Bray Wyatt to a solid match at WrestleMania 31.

The Undertaker could be a part-time champion, and the WWE has made that work before, spotlighting undercard feuds. What this means is that the Undertaker could help save the career of a number of buried superstars--which include Dolph Ziggler and Rusev.

Honestly, someone who has had such a huge part in saving the WWE during the Attitude Era deserves another shot at the championship.

For John Cena, however, he has done everything in the WWE except for battle the Deadman on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Many believed Cena should have been the one to end the Undertaker's streak and be the first to defeat him at WrestleMania.

Since Lesnar was the one to prevent this, Cena should get the opportunity to send him off with a match for the ages.

The WWE is in a spot where they should not make this the finishing match at the event. Since there are so many young talents and massive stars that are a part of the biggest event of the wrestling year, this match can steal the show from the undercard.

A superstar such as Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose or Cesaro can finish the event with a Match of the Year candidate. The only issue though would be a stipulation that comes with winning the Royal Rumble, which Cena would have to do to face the champion Undertaker.

While there are many ways to separate Cena and Taker and still have them create a major storyline going into WrestleMania, the rivalry between two of the biggest stars the company has ever seen would be an amazing reason to tune into an event the WWE wants to make historic. Surrounding this match with other high quality draws would help create an event we, as fans, will never forget.
