Thor: The Dark World is just one month away, and now eager fans have a new clip to hold them over. The video of Thor and Loki's Asgardian glass prison visitation shows us that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is joining forces with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) as an unlikely avenger. But just who is it the brothers have to avenge? We have all the latest hints on just who dies in the new film.
The recently released clip elaborates on the Loki/Thor prison scene from the trailers. We all know that Thor strikes a bargain with his brother because of the new threat--Malekith the Accursed. However, we haven't seen what Loki's motivations were for his about-face.

In the new clip, we learned that Loki's alleged redemption is more than just a get out of jail free card. It's a quest for vengeance, but just what does Loki need to avenge?
It is widely rumored that Loki's adopted mother Frigga will meet her end in the new film. Frigga, played by Rene Russo in the 2011 film Thor, remained sympathetic to Loki after he learned of his own frost giant origins. Its possible that the prodigal son still holds some affection for the matriarch.
Still, if a common enemy and a chance at redemption aren't enough, Thor still has a few ways to keep his brother in line:
"When we fought each other in the pass, I did so with the glimmer of hope that my brother was still in there somewhere. That hope no longer exists to protect you. You betray me, and I will kill you."
Thor: The Dark World opens in theaters on November 8 with select IMAX 3d showings beginning Oct 30. Check out the clip and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
