With so many Keeping Up with the Kardashians cast members' relationships falling apart in 2015, word has it that Kris Jenner is banking on her dating 35-year-old Corey Gamble to reinvigorate the TV show's ratings. According to the latest gossip news updates, the reality TV matriarch is purposely planting the story about her being engaged to Justin Bieber's tour manager to see if their getting married again won't bring some of the old fans back to the series. For her part, Kim Kardashian says that she absolutely loves Corey and how happy he makes her mother.
Now that both Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are single again, Kris Jenner is hoping that her getting married to Corey Simms might bring a much needed boost to the reality show's ratings.
One source in the latest November 30, issue of Star magazine claims that Kris and Corey have made a point of wearing engagement rings in public to gage their audience's interest in another Kardashian TV wedding:
"With viewers losing interest in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris has been scrambling to save her family's sinking reality series.
"Kris bought them both rings to wear when photographers are sound.
"The fact of the matter is she will do anything for attention...Right now, she's testing the waters to see if the public is interested in seeing her tie the know before she puts her plan in place."
Despite the tabloids' cynical view of her mother's relationship, Kim Kardashian recently told People that she loves that Kris has found someone new to love (via Perez Hilton):
"It's been so much fun just to see my mom happy. My mom has had such a hard year and I think it's been refreshing to see her have a good time. He's such a nice person.
"She can connect with him and go to the movies with him, work out with him. It's the little things."
While Kylie Jenner's breaking up with her boyfriend, Tyga, this week might wind up having a negative effect on the overall ratings, Kris and Kim are supposedly thrilled to pieces that Kylie is back on the singles market.
The secret insider that Hollywood Life spoke to claimed that both Kris and Kim thought Kylie's breaking up with Tyga was the smartest thing the 18-year-old has done in a long time:
"Kris was one of the non-cheerleaders of a Tyga and Kylie relationship because all she saw was Tyga hanging on to the Kardashian name and making his money off them.
"Kim is so sad for her sister, but thinks this may be a blessing in disguise."
