The rumor mill is back in action. This time it’s Tim Burton who finds himself in their crosshairs, as he is accused of cheating on his (kinda) wife, Helena Bonham Carter. New photos show the director kissing a mystery woman.
The tabloids are really stretching on this rumor. Leading the pack is the New York Post, who proudly proclaimed that the director was cheating on his partner of 12 years.
The photos they used, however, are less than convincing. In fact, Burton’s face can’t even be seen in the infamous kissing photo.

Of course, that doesn’t stop gossip sites and even some newspapers reporting the story. Even The Daily Mail got in on the action, describing the photos as:
“In the images of Tim's evening out with the mystery woman, first published on the New York Post, the Edward Scissorhands director is dressed down in jeans and a jacket as he follows the blonde, who looks younger than him, into the cinema.
Tim is instantly recognisable in the images due to his famous mop of curly hair and facial hair.
As they leave the cinema, the pair appear to enjoy an embrace and what seems to be a kiss before they get into the same car together.“
After the allegations came to light, Carter immediately dismissed them. Her spokesperson told the press:
“This is absolute nonsense, the pictures were taken whilst they were out and the large group includes family, friends and work colleagues.”
We want to hear your thoughts. Do you think the directing legend was unfaithful? Is this just more nonsense gossip? Let us know your thoughts in the comment field below.
