The Divergent Series: Allegiant is all set to release on March 18, 2016. With the trailer release, one thing that is clear is that Tris and Four's characters will develop a lot emotionally and become more intimate. Also, a clip showing a kissing scene of Theo James and Shailene Woodley has increased the hype for the upcoming Divergent film.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant will take James and Woodley's onscreen chemistry to another level and will have many intimate scenes. According to Master Herald, James has confirmed the increased dose of intimate scenes in the new movie.
James has confirmed that there will be a lot of intimacy shared between Tris and Four. James and Woodley have always been open about their chemistry, which has many lead to believe in the past that they are dating off screen. Although that is not true, their onscreen chemistry is on-spot.
In his candid interview with Entertainment Wise, James opened up about sex scenes of Divergent films. He said that it was awkward but he wanted to do it right so he and Woodley practiced a lot.
He further added, "I just went at it hard, to be honest, because I thought that's how she wanted it. I thought to assuage any awkwardness I would just go for it. She was kind of batting away my hands... I just wanted to practice the kissing scene with Shai as much as possible. I'd say 'Listen, after dinner we could just go over that scene again.'"
James jokingly also added, "The full penetration sex was also very awkward."
Woodley also talked about James' kissing skills and practice to SugarScape saying, "Theo came over every night for two months beforehand." Woodley has also openly commented that James is a good kisser.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant will be directed by Robert Schwentke and will be based on novels by Veronica Roth. Apart from Woodley and James, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Naomi Watts and Jeff Daniels are also part of The Divergent Series: Allegiant cast.
