Word has it that a few short months after the fact that Miranda Lambert thinks she might have made a mistake going through with her divorce from Blake Shelton. According to the latest gossip news updates, the "Little Red Wagon" singer recently tried to reach out to the Voice coach -- only to be rejected all over again. It's said that Blake has found true love with Gwen Stefani and is ready to walk away from his life with Miranda forever. Since things don't seem to be salvageable with Shelton, Lambert has supposedly started dating other men until he comes around.
While 4-years seems like plenty enough time to decide whether you want to married to someone or not, Miranda Lambert supposedly just recently had a change of heart regarding her split from Blake Shelton.
One source in the latest December 7, issue of Star magazine claims that after Miranda reached out just prior to this year's Country Music Awards, Shelton did his best to crush any hope she might have about their ever getting back together:
"He wrote back immediately and told her to lose his number -- and fast.
"He wanted to make it clear that he wants nothing to do with her anymore.
"Miranda is old news, as far as Blake is concerned, she can text him all she wants, but he's much happier without her in his life, and frankly, he owes her nothing."
Despite the way things might have ended for Blake and Miranda, the country music maven told Entertainment Tonight that she still looks back on her marriage fondly:
"I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is.
"I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."
The secret insider that E! News spoke to claimed that Miranda is starting to move on in the wake of her failed marriage and was even beginning to date here and there in recent weeks:
"Miranda is doing wonderful! She is staying busy and really happy. She is dating and enjoying single life.
"She is taking things slow and just going with the flow.
"It's all about her now though. Her friends think she is in a great mind space."
