One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful' Played by 'The Piano Guys' [VIDEO]

Classical pianist group “The Piano Guys” released a YouTube video playing “What Makes You Beautiful” by British teen group “One Direction,” and it has gone viral.

In the video, five pianists use every part of the piano to play the boy band’s debut hit in their own arrangement on one grand piano. After being released on Wednesday, the posting got over one million viewers in a single day.

"Our vision is to create music and videos that inspire & uplift,” stated The Piano Guys on their YouTube channel.

“We want to take that music to the world and make a difference. We like to put a new spin on classic stuff and a classic spin on new stuff. Whatever we do, we put our heart and souls into every note and frame," the musicians added.

The Piano Guys, consisting of Paul Anderson, Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Tel Stewart and Al Van Der Beek, released their first album in December 2011. Since then, the group gained popularity mostly through their YouTube video postings with over 80 million hits as of May 2012.
