While Tom Brady has seemingly been on damage control ever since the tabloids started claiming that Gisele Bundchen wanted a divorce in the wake of his Inflategate scandal, his wife seems to be doing her best to keep the rumors alive. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former Victoria's Secret supermodel's recently admitting that she has thought about leaving the NFL star in the past has the tabloids reporting once again that things are all but over for the Hollywood hot couple.
For weeks, Tom Brady has been busy doing everything in his power to reverse the tidal wave of rumors that have his wife ready to leave him for someone with more integrity.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tom went so far as to trot out the tired old line about his wife actually being his very best friend:
"She's my best friend.
"We spend as much time as we can together, and you know, it's a busy life we have and we have three kids."
Unfortunately for Tom, Gisele set his media sweep back to zero when she told Charlie Rose that she actually considered leaving Tom after she found out he was having a kid with Bridget Moynahan way back in 2007 (via People):
"It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking, I'm dating this guy, we met, and we started dating and everything is great and then this happens.
""So, then I felt like I didn't know what to do. It was kind of one of those moments of like, 'Do I just run away?' "
As a result of her confession, the gossip magazines are once again spreading the news far and wide that Tom and Gisele's marriage is in serious trouble.
One source in the latest December 7, issue of InTouch insists that the Bradys have been in couples' therapy as they try desperately to get their marriage back on track before it is too late:
"Gisele is reevaluating herself and mistakes she made, too.
"They're desperately trying to work through their problems."
