The official Lucky for Life lottery website is reporting on one winner who is definetly has a lot to be thankful for this year:
Jacqueline Letourneau of Wareham, MA is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state ‘Lucky for Life’ game after correctly matching the first five numbers selected in the drawing that took place Thursday, May 21.
“Letourneau, who claimed her prize at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Braintree headquarters on Thursday, October 22, opted to receive a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes). She plans to use her winnings to buy a car, help her family and make a special charitable donation.”
The website is reporting on another big winner as well, writing:
"A West Warwick, RI man cashed in a winning Lucky for Life™ ticket worth $25,000 a year for life from Monday night’s drawing. He is the fifth Rhode Islander and second West Warwick resident to win the $25,000 a year for life Lucky for Life™ prize. His ticket matched all five numbers but not the Lucky Ball to win the second-tier prize of $25,000 a year for life. However, the man opted for the cash option, a one-time lump sum payment of $390,000."
