Paris Jackson Attempted Suicide Update: Treating Mental Health at Horse Rehab Center, Michael’s Daughter is Improving

Paris Jackson, who attempted suicide earlier in the summer, is getting the help she needs. According to recently published reports, Paris’ mental health is improving at the rehab center she lives at. Michael’s daughter has been spending a lot more time away from her family and a lot more time riding on horses.

TMZ recently reported that the King of Pop’s daughter has been getting treatment at a private rehab facility in Utah. According to the article, the center focuses on using horses as a means of therapy.

The gossip website spoke to a source who was able to reveal the level of care she is receiving. The insider revealed:

“Horse therapy in schools like where Paris is are a great idea. It keeps their mind occupied and rather than thinking about themselves, they need to look after another individual. They will be responsible for the animal.”

The source went on to discuss what this means for the patients and how it improves their quality of life:

“For the first time, they won’t have to worry about their own problems, but concern themselves that the horse is being fed, gets their medication, is cared and groomed for properly and gets the right attention. There’s no judgement, just unconditional love. Just by touching, brushing and riding it, they can start feeling better. It’s empowering and gives them perspective on their own lives.”

Since her attempted suicide, Paris has undergone numerous therapies and psychological evaluations, which have seemed to help the troubled teen. Her grandmother, Katherine, gave an interview to Hello! Magazine, where she revealed:

"The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said 'I want to go and see Daddy, I don't want to be without him'."
