They have only been dating a few short months, but anyone can see that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are fast falling head over heels in love. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Voice super-couple are even considering having a baby in the very near future, though with the Hollaback Girl being in her mid-40s it may be easier said than done. Word has it that Blake's ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, has convinced herself that Shelton's latest tryst is just a celebrity stunt, however, and won't believe that he is really dating the No Doubt singer before sees proof of a baby bump.
Despite a decade long relationship with Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton has never had any kids of his own, but that could be about to change.
One source in the latest December 21, issue of InTouch claims that now that he and Gwen Stefani are fast getting serious, Shelton is hoping that he may soon be able to finally start a family of his own:
"They're talking about having babies, so Blake might get the family he has always wanted.
"He's not trying to push the idea, but one of the things he loves about Gwen is how great she it with her kids.
"He's totally smitten and following her lead with everything...[but] a baby would make him even more ecstatic."
While their fans seem to have little problem believing that Blake and Gwen are making plans for the future, Miranda Lambert is said to doubt that their new romance is anything more than a well-orchestrated publicity stunt.
After supposedly learning that Blake and Gwen had posed for a joint Christmas card, the secret insider that Hollywood Life spoke to explained that the "Little Red Wagon" singer reportedly started telling her friends that she thinks the whole thing is bogus:
"Miranda caught wind of the card and is just embarrassed for them.
"It's just too much and too fast. She thinks it's just a publicity stunt.
"Miranda feels like if they were confident about their relationship, then they wouldn't feel the need to flaunt it so much!"
