While Antonio Banderas wasted no time finding a new girlfriend in the weeks immediately following the announcement that he and Melanie Griffith were getting a divorce, the Crazy in Alabama beauty hasn't been as lucky -- until now. According to the latest gossip news updates, none other than Kris Jenner has decided to help Griffith to find a new boyfriend ASAP. Word has it that Melanie might not want to be too quick to settle down with anyone the Keeping Up with the Kardashians momager finds for her as not to forfeit the $65,000 in spousal support that the Desperado heart throb has been ordered to pay her since finalizing their split.
It took no time at all for Antonia Banderas to find another lover in the wake of hi split form Melanie Griffith, but until very recently his ex-wife was said to be a little gun shy about getting into a new relationship.
One source in the latest December 28, issue of Star magazine claims that now that things are officially over, Melanie is turning to her old friend, Kris Jenner, to find her a new much younger boyfriend:
"Her divorce was just finalized, but Melanie is ready to get back out there, and Kris has already contacted modeling agencies in search of young hotties for Melanie.
"Mel wants to show the world that she's not someone to be cast aside as a sad, old ex-wife."
According to the L.A. Times it might be a while before Griffith is ready to actually walk down the aisle again, as it would mean giving up $65,000 every month in spousal support from Antonia:
"If the Working Girl star remarries, the Desperado actor is off the spousal support hook -- and that $780,000 a year disappears."
