Potassium plays a great role in boosting the muscular and nervous system especially in regards to the brain. Magnesium, which is a body energy-booster, is also found in coconut water. This makes the drink a great contender against caffeine-heavy drinks.

It is also rich in another protein called cytokines, which has been studied to lowering cancer growth.

Lastly, another great benefit of coconut water is that it is a hangover cure. For those who thrive in the night, this can surely handle the morning after with an added boost.
