Actress Nina Dobrev and Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough may have broken up, but now the Vampires Diaries star has her on-screen hands full. Dobrev's character is now in the middle of a love triangle between her real life ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and actor Paul Wesley.
Nina Dobrev recently broke up with her new beau Derek Hough. An anonymous source spoke with Us Weekly about the reasons for the break up, saying:
"The distance was too much to handle." DWTS films in L.A. and TVD films in Atlanta.
Dobrev met Hough through his sister Julianne. A separate source added,"Julianne understands -- there are no hard feelings."
Now that Dobrev is once again single, many TVD fans are hoping that Dobrev will get back together with her on-screen boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. The couple just recently broke up in real life after dating for three years. Some fans have even made a Fifty Shades of Gray film trailer in the hopes of seeing Somerhalder cast in the lead role. However, Somerhalder and Dobrev's characters may meet the same fate as their real life selves. Somerhalder recently talked to Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan about the immortal's possibly short lived romance. During his appearance on Live With Kelly & Michael, Somerhalder told the host:
"You can't be too happy in Mystic Falls. He got the girl, finally. It's cute, man. You've got this guy who's a maniacal killer, with the same look on his face whether he's saving a kitten from a tree or ripping your face off, and he's in love. It's cute. ... And it's not going to last, probably."
Now in a new trailer for the CW series, pits Dobrev in the middle of a love triangle with Somerhalder and Paul Wesley.
