Redick should be watched tonight to see if he can get another 20 plus point scoring streak. As the Orange County Register noted, "Redick has been the hottest shooter on the roster this season, hitting 5 of 6 from 3-point range Wednesday to up his season number to 47.7 percent from deep." He'll be under a lot of pressure to keep up his typically strong point scoring.
The New Orleans Pelicans are struggling to get a working starting lineup, and while coach Alvin Gentry "finally appears to have settled on a starting lineup, the numbers say that unit isn't doing the job." Without a consistently strong starting group, the team has been suffering significantly. In fact, one of the more recent lineups, while having more time on the court together, is "being outscored by 13.3 points per 100 possessions, the second-worst margin of any Pelicans lineup combination."
With the struggles the Pelicans have faced both with a starting lineup and injuries this season, it looks like the Los Angeles Clippers will be the stronger contender in tonight's NBA game.
