Most of their fans probably presume that Sin City is plenty big enough for the both of them, but word has it that Britney Spears is none too pleased with the thought of having to share the Planet Hollywood stage with Jennifer Lopez. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Piece of Me star is doing everything in her power to run J. Lo out of Las Vegas just as soon as humanly possible.
She has clearly come a long way from her mental meltdown a few ago, but that doesn't mean that Britney Spears has gotten any better at working well with others.
One source in the latest January 11, issue of Life & Style claims that even before Lopez has arrived, Britney has literally been working behind the scenes to make her stay as miserable as she can:
"Britney's telling people she hopes the show fails.
"She's requested to have larger props built for the show so she can take over the prop space J. Lo has, just to make her unwelcome.
"For now, Britney feels like she is winning the war...doing everything she can to make J. Lo is out of town within weeks."
Showing a bit more maturity that the tabloids has given her credit for, Britney also released a PSA going into the holidays - reminding people not to take chances with the safety going into the New Year (via LA Times):
"When I'm with friends, we make this promise to each other: Arrive together, stick together and leave together.
"Remember: Have fun, but play it safe and party smart."
