The big storyline heading into this game is Trevone Boykin. He was arrested Thursday after skipping out on curfew, ended up partying and got into a bit of trouble, as you might have heard. Boykin is suspended for this game, and it certainly puts a damper on things as he's been such a phenomenal player at the college level, and there was expected to be a fantastic quarterback duel tonight.

Alas, that will not be the case.

However, it should still be a very entertaining game. TCU, for the most part, still has the rest of their weapons, and there are two quarterbacks behind Boykin. Expected to start in his place is senior Bram Kohlhausen, who almost led TCU to a comeback over Oklahoma the one game this year that Boykin was hurt.

The one thing we know that will help TCU's offense is that the Ducks are certainly known to give up quite a few points. Once they find a rhythm, everything should be at least functional.

No doubt, this will hurt them, though. Because for as long as it takes to find that rhythm offensively, the Ducks will likely be scoring with ease themselves.

It was a roller coaster of a season for Oregon, but they more than found their stride down the stretch as quarterback Vernon Adams has emerged as a big-time playmaker the second half of the season. He finished the year with 25 touchdowns and only six interceptions in just eight full games. The Ducks won their final six games after Adams returned from an injury, as he tossed 21 touchdowns to just four interceptions in those contests. He's on fire, and so are the Ducks.

Ultimately, this will be a shootout. The question is, how long can TCU keep up with Oregon's well-oiled machine?

Prediction: Oregon 52, TCU 41
