Nicole Kidman recently opened up about her divorce from noted Scientologist, Tom Cruise. While the actress didn’t blame her separation on the Church of Scientology, a provocative story from Vanity Fair claims to outline one of his past relationships. The latest comments come after it was rumored that his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, may be dating Jamie Foxx.
Nicole Kidman married Tom Cruise when she was just a young woman. The award-winning actress was just 23 when she tied the knot. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman told the publication:
“I was so young. And you know, with no disrespect to what I had with Tom, I’ve met my great love now. And I really did not know if that was going to happen. I wanted it, but I didn’t want it for a while, because I didn’t want to jump from one relationship to another. I had a lot of time alone, which was really, really good, because I was a child, really, when I got married. And I needed to grow up.”
She also went on to discuss her current marriage, which she doesn’t think anyone else can really understand, except Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (we don’t know what that means, either).
Of course, Vanity Fair is the same publication that made waves with their article that alleged that the Church of Scientology vetted various girls for the chance to date or marry Tom Cruise.
The publication claims that the CoS vetted Nazanin Boniadi as a possible candidate for Tom. The alleged dating is claimed to have taken place back in 2004.
You may know the 31-year-old actress for her role on this season’s Homeland, where she portrays a CIA analyst.
At the time, Ms. Boniadi was rumored to be among dozens of women considered for Tom. Then 25, the actress was allegedly selected because of her medical degree and slender frame.
The article was fairly graphic in it’s description of what Nazanin had to go through. According to the article, this includes changing her hair color, fixing her teeth and undergoing days of intimate questions.
Tom’s not the only one who has been busy dating. According to In Touch, Tom’s other ex, Katie Holmes, may be seeing Jamie Foxx. The tabloid quotes a source as saying:
"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while. They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance.A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car. So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment.”
