The Los Angeles Clippers are embroiled in a touch of drama after Blake Griffin, already on the injured list, struck a member of the Clippers' staff, possibly fracturing his hand. "According to the sources, Griffin and the equipment staffer got into an argument in a restaurant during the team's trip to Toronto. Griffin hit the man, who then left the restaurant and went outside. Griffin followed him outside and hit him again." It is expected that Griffin will be out a number of weeks while his hand heals. This isn't the first incident where Blake Griffin has lost his temper. Back in 2014, he was charged with misdemeanor battery after grabbing a photographer's phone. The charges were since dropped.
The Indiana Pacers will be forced to make some choices regarding Paul George, who's recent play has been somewhat inconsistent. "George said Monday that he and coach Frank Vogel have discussed the best way to ensure he can perform at his best during the second half to the season. The best solution could be to reduce George's minutes." Considering George is the team leader in PPG as well as rebounds and steals, that reduction could be a problem for the Pacers this season. However, ensuring George can recover fully from last year's broken leg is best for the long run.
