After the whole fiasco with Blake Griffin that was released yesterday, the Clippers went out and took care of business, defeating the Indiana Pacers 91-89. It was a good sign for them as they didn't let that distraction affect their ability on the court.

That said, they have an even tougher opponent, once again on the road, in the Hawks tonight.

One thing is for sure if the Clippers are to pull out a second-straight victory: they'll need to shoot a lot better in this one. Atlanta is a solid defensive team with a lot more offensive talent than the Pacers. Simply put, 91 points won't be enough. And oddly enough, 91 was barely enough last night as they shot just 41 percent from the field and 50 percent from the free-throw line. If not for their barrage of threes -- 15-of-37 for 40.5 percent -- they likely would've fallen short.

The Hawks catch the Clippers at a prime time compared to a week or two ago when the Clippers were simply dominating games. They need to take advantage of that and improve upon their 15-7 home record.

On the season, five players average double-digit points for Atlanta, and six average at least 9.4. This team, just like last year, epitomizes team play without having all of the stars. The best player on this team is Paul Millsap, and while he's a tremendous player, nobody talks about him as one of the elite NBA players or anything like that. He's a very sound, fundamental player who plays consistently well, and the rest of the team follows suit.

That will play a big factor tonight, as the Clippers are on the polar opposite for most of their success. But will they be able to do enough?

Tonight, the Hawks seem to have the advantage.

Prediction: Hawks 104, Clippers 100
