Angelina Jolie, who the tabloids claim is pregnant, could be undergoing more surgery before her wedding to Brad Pitt. According to a major U.S. tabloid, the actress’ breast implants could be causing her problems, following her mastectomy. It has not been a kind year for Angelina Jolie. Despite having undergone a major surgery (a mastectomy to prevent breast cancer), the tabloids will not leave her alone. While most articles imply that she and Brad Pitt may not be getting married, the latest article in Star is particularly offensive.
The tabloid is alleging that Jolie will be going back under the knife. This time, however, it will be cosmetic. According to an alleged insider, Jolie made a mistake in getting breast implants so soon after her mastectomy:
“Angie’s new breasts are uncomfortable and painful, and they’re driving her crazy...She did all of the research, and she knew it was risky to get implants so soon after the mastectomy. She’s not worried about her cancer anymore, but her new fear is that she rushed into getting her implants and there is a chance of infection.”
Jolie initially drew criticism for her decision to preemptively remove her breasts, however, she has since been praised by the medical community. Jolie explained her decision in The New York Times, telling readers:
“My chances of developing breast cancer dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer.”
Of course, not all of the press surround Jolie has been controversial. In fact, the majority of it focuses on her upcoming wedding to Brad Pitt.
Since the two announced they would wed, rumors have been flying. Even Marie Claire UK got into the guessing game, claiming that the couple would tie the knot on a boat. The magazine quoted a source as revealing:
“It was Maddox who came up with the idea of the ship. He came across it after looking back at photos of the Carnell Estate in Ayrshire, where they stayed and all loved. So now they’ve made enquiries into booking the whole vessel. It’s just what they’re after. It can hold up to 50 of their friends and family and serve as a traditional, romantic setting--all totally private. Or they could always sail to a secluded bay off the Orkney or Shetland islands and have the ceremony there. The kids are all hooked on old British voyages, so they would love it. The fact that Maddox found it makes it more special.”
