Despite being on an 11 game winning streak, the Toronto Raptors aren't celebrating yet. While they may have one of the best defenses in the NBA right now, but as Sportsnet put it, "this is the NBA, and in the NBA, Toronto's best isn't good enough." This game is expected to be close, and the Raptors will need to improve both offense and defense significantly if they want a shot at the championship.
January has been a turnaround time for the Portland Trail Blazers. They're defense has significantly improved, and no doubt led to their five consecutive win streak. This new defense is "a resurgence that started roughly two weeks ago thanks to a little extra practice time, a painful film review session and a renewed focus to improve the team's biggest Achilles heel."
This should be a great game to watch, especially considering one team's streak is going to end tonight.
