Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones may not be getting a divorce in 2013 after all. Rumors are flying that the Wall Street actor and his beautiful wife are back together, after a number of cheating rumors and claims that Douglas was having an affair.
When Michael Douglas informed the press that everything was fine with his marriage, many were skeptical. And that made sense, considering the longtime couple publicly announced that they were separating in August.
Britain’s Daily Mail recently claimed that Douglas has moved back in with Catherine. The even quoted an insider who recently caught up with the acting legend:
“People kept asking [Michael] what’s been going on with Catherine. Michael said, ‘We are doing great, she's better than ever,’ and said their kids are doing great.”
This is a welcome turn of events for the couple, who found themselves on the cover of numerous tabloids. Many of the publications claimed that Douglas was cheating on Zeta-Jones.
Matters weren’t helped when photos emerged of Michael on vacation with a mystery brunette, who looked a great deal like Catherine. As one source informed Star, some even confused the younger woman with his estranged wife:
“At first, everyone thought the woman was Catherine, especially with all the attention Michael was lavishing on her. But it wasn’t. Michael and Catherine are living totally separate lives and are powering full steam ahead with the divorce. She was gorgeous--tall, with long, dark hair pulled back in a braided ponytail and a million dollar smile. Michael seemed to be putting the moves on this woman hard-core. He must be champing at the bit to play the field again.”
