The cast for Fox’s upcoming Rocky Horror Show Live event is almost complete. It was recently announced that Annaleigh Ashford was cast as Columbia. It has now been announced that Broadway legend Ben Vereen has been cast as Dr. Scott. The Tony Award winning actor is known for his roles in Pipin, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and Wicked.
The cast for the Fox Rocky Horror Show includes Fox's Rocky Horror Show Cast: Victoria Justice as Janet Weiss, Ryan McCartan as Brad Majors, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Staz Nair as Rocky Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia, Ben Vereen as Dr. Scott. Laverne Cox as Frank N Furter and Original West End/Broadway/Picture Show Frank N Furter actor Tim Curry as The Criminologist,
Fox announced Curry’s casting at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, where the actor told reporters (Via The Hollywood Reporter):
“I am very happy and excited to be a part of this new event.”
We are still missing a Magenta, Usherette, Ralph, Betty and the Transylvanians.
