John Mayer and Katy Perry may soon be planning a wedding. According to a new report, Mayer has been shopping around for a new engagement ring. These latest rumors come after claims that Perry wants a baby with the singer.
The NY Daily News is claiming that John Mayer and Katy Perry are finally ready to take things to the next level. According to the publication:
“Bluesman John Mayer has been ‘looking at rings’ for ‘Roar’ singer Katy Perry, who he started dating again in July after a three-month break. US Weekly’s ‘Hot Stuff’ column reports that Mayer is getting ready to pop the question to his pop-star girlfriend and his mom likes it. ‘She approves of Katy,’ a source tells the mag, adding, “and he wants to do it soon because his dad is 86.”
Of course, these aren’t the only rumors that the couple may be tying the knot. According to a recent edition of Star, the on-again, off-again love birds are ready to move forward, as a source revealed:
“Things are going full-steam ahead for John and Katy. As everyone knows, they’ve had their rough spots, but it’s all ironed out and things are just wonderful for them right now. They couldn’t be more in love.”
The alleged insider also spoke about what lead the couple to wanting a child in the first place. Apparently, Katy was later than usual last month and needed a pregnancy test. This caused the couple to openly address the issue, as the source reveals:
“Without meaning to, Katy blabbed to John when he asked her what was wrong. Instead of him flipping out, he leapt with joy and grabbed her in a huge bear hug! She was completely, totally shocked.”
