The San Antonio Spurs face an injury stricken Heat, but with the recent performance by the Spurs against the Lakers, this could be a close game. The Spurs can't afford to play as sloppily as they did against the lowly Lakers, as many of the upper rank teams will be able to prevent the kind of comeback the Spurs needed. The Spurs have an excellent defense, one of the best in the NBA, so their chances tonight, barring bad play, are quite high.
The Miami Heat are down several players due to injury or illness. Even worse, the loss to the Clippers highlighted an effective counter-strategy to the recently reinvigorated Heat offense. According to guard Goran Dragic, "We're going to have to improve because every team is scouting us. Every team, they know what we're doing now. We're going to try to figure out now how to upgrade it."
