The Washington Wizards have been struggling with consistency all season long. Film sessions and practices focused on changing mistakes into strengths have had little effect. Wizards guard Garret Temple described the situation as "After 10 games, OK, you may see the same thing. But 40, 50 games in, you can't be making the same mistakes. Not giving up layups, going after loose balls, breakdowns on defense; those are things we have to eliminate. It is frustrating when you see it on film, but that has to translate into changing them on the court."

The New York Knicks have had their share of troubles this season as well, with outdated plays and a micro-managing GM, not to mention having their coach, Derek Fisher, fired mid-season. All in all, this is going to be a tough game for the Knicks, though if the Wizards keep playing as they have been recently, the Knicks do stand a good chance.
