Lamar Odom has a lot to thank for being alive after what he had been through for the past several months. He especially owes a lot to his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, who has been his supporter from day one after his infamous overdose in a whorehouse. Because of that, the former NBA superstar is planning to surprise her on Valentine's day.
The 36-year-old troubled athlete knows that Kardashian did everything in her power to keep him well and healthy. She never left him during his dark times in the hospital while he was struggling to stay alive. He is so appreciative of her help that he believes she deserves something special on February 14.
“If it weren’t for Khloe, Lamar wouldn’t be alive. She’s helped him walk, talk, read, and even training him to get back into the best shape of his life," a source told HollywoodLife. "This Valentine’s Day, Lamar is planning a very special and romantic evening for Khloe. Yes, there will be flowers, chocolates and her favorite champagne.”
As for Odom's health, TMZ reports that he is doing really well and called the recovery "miraculous."
Kim Kardashian updated fans when she posted a snap on Instagram stating that she was on a hike with her 31-year-old sister and the basketball star, confirming Odom's improving physical strength despite the tragic incident back in October.
In spite of helping Odom recover, Kardashian had previously been linked romantically to another. However, she has reportedly now split from the new interest. According to US Weekly, Kardashian "dumped" 26-year-old Houston Rockets star James Harden "weeks ago."
