Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have made it clear time and time again that although they still care for each other, they have finally moved on separately. Bieber had been constantly hanging out with rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, and Gomez had been linked to a couple of guys as well. Now, the "Love Yourself" singer seems to have confirmed their final breakup by covering up his tattoo of his first love on his wrist.
During his behind-the-scenes video for GQ magazine, the 21-year-old showed off his numerous tattoos. The black and white video started with Bieber playing the piano, he then shared to the camera his very first tattoo.
The "What Do You Mean" singer explains that most of his tattoos were strategically placed because nobody knew at that time that he was getting ink done. He initially preferred to put them on places where he can hide them, like his torso and legs.
He went on to show his favorite tattoo, a set of wings on the back of his neck. He then went on to tell the meanings of some of the permanent images on his body, like his mom's birthday and even the first letter of the name of his friend's daughter who has a "brain condition."
Bieber then pointed a female image with angel wings on his left wrist saying, “This is my ex-girlfriend. I kinda tried to cover her face up with some shading, but people still know.”
Gomez recently opened up to Rolling Stone that she is so "beyond done" with Bieber. So did this make it easier for the "Sorry" singer to come to a decision of covering his Selena tattoo? Only time will tell.
