Lauren Conrad, who is engaged to William Tell, has been busy making wedding plans. Of course, you may not get to see them, as she recently turned down an offer to televise her marriage. This latest news comes after she posted photos of her amazing engagement ring. Check out the pics for yourself!
Lauren’s reality TV days may be over, according to a source who spoke to Star. The insider revealed that Conrad rejected an offer from MTV:
“Lauren is done with reality TV and isn’t about to turn her nuptials into a circus. Plus, William is very private and mortified at the thought of a cheesy TV wedding. She thinks her big day will be a lot less special if she’s focused on cashing in.”
Of course, that doesn’t mean that Lauren wants a private ceremony. After all, on October 11, Lauren told the world that she was engaged on her own blog:
"I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process."
She also took to Instagram, revealing the ring along with the text, “Best surprise ever.”
Considering the price tag of the ring, she might just be right. Our friends over at Hollywood Life spoke to expert jeweler Shari Fabrikant, who revealed:
“Lauren’s ring appears to be a 3 carat round diamond set in a very simple, 4-prong mounting. It’s a very nice stone! If it were a G color VS2 in quality, it would cost approximately $50,000. The ring is simple but classic--it’s timeless and elegant!”
