‘Maurice Hines Tappin’ Thru Life’ Closing Sunday Feb 21 at New World Stages

Maurice Hines Tappin' Thru Life is coming to a close after 21 previews and 46 performances. The song and dance musical at New World Stages theater (340 W. 50th Street) will run its performance this weekend, Sunday, February 21st.

Maurice Hines recently spoke about his personal attachment to the show and how it helps to honor his mother and brother (via Press Release):

"I have had an absolute ball bringing Maurice Hines Tappin Thru Life to New York. Since my brother and mother made their transition, I have been lonely but keeping them alive every night has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I am truly appreciative for all of the love and support the I receive nightly
from audiences."

Maurice Hines Tappin’ Thru Life tells the story of his amazing career including his encounters with Ella Fitzgerald,Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Lena Horne and Judy Garland among many others.

Maurice Hines’ Tappin’ Thru Life is playing New World Stages theater (340 W. 50th Street) till Sunday, Feb 21. The remaining show dates and times include: Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, Sunday at 3pm.
