It's been quite the year for Kim Zolciak and her husband Kory Biermann. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her NFL player husband have had a roller coaster first year of marriage. However, injury and cheating rumors haven't slowed down this happy family. The couple are celebrating their one year wedding anniversary and are about to welcome their twin babies into the world, as Zolciak's due date is fast approaching.
Kim Zolciak is about to pop. The soon-to-be mother of six, is expecting to give birth any day now. Recently she tweeted:
“I just ate too much and I feel like I could explode! These babies leave me no room!!!”
Zolciak and her husband just celebrated their first year of marriage, as she discussed in an open letter to her fans, posted on her website:
"Can you believe that it is already November 1st! 2013 has been such a crazy year and I can't believe it is almost over."
She later added:
"We all are getting more and more excited for our two little bundle of joys to get here! Very very soon! Let me tell you carrying twins is no joke and far different than carrying a singleton! We do have names ready but we will decide when we see them. I can't wait to find out the gender and I'm really glad we waited to find out! What a wonderful surprise this is going to be."
However, it hasn't all been good news this year. Biermann recently suffered a career-threatening injury. Zolciak took the opportunity to update her fans on her husband's condition:
"A lot of you have been asking about Kory. He is doing amazing! He is healing quickly and walking ahead of schedule. He is doing everything he needs to do to get back on that field! As always thank you all for the love you share not only with me but my family. We see the great messages, tweets and support you show for us!"
Injury wasn't the only obstacle that the couple had to face during their freshman year of marriage. Earlier in the year, a former NBA cheerleader, Elizabeth Seward, told In Touch that she had a "hot and heavy'' affair with Biermann, adding:
“I want Kim to know about it. It was this whirlwind love at first sight thing.”
