Italian Singing Sensations Il Volo Return to North America [VIDEO]

Italian teenage superstars Il Volo will be returning to the US for a series of 28 concerts and 4 Canadian shows that begin August 12th in Minneapolis.

Following the stunning success of their PBS Special "Live From the Detroit Opera House" and their debut CD which sold 350,000 copies in the US and over a million copies globally, the trio of operatic pop tenors will also stop in major markets, including NY's Beacon Theatre on September 4th. The announcement was confirmed by their label Geffen Records and their national tour promoter Live Nation.

"Il Volo wring every ounce of emotion from the classical-crossover material on their self-titled debut, then find just a bit more to extract," commented The Village Voice.

"We've traveled all over the world these last two years but love our American audiences," commented the group about their upcoming US tour. "We can't wait to come back and perform for our fans," they concluded.

Consisting of 4 teenagers, Piero Barone 19, Ignazio Borschetto 18, and Gianluca Ginoble 17, IL Volo's self-titled debut album arrived at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts and has remained a Top Ten CD on Billboard's Classical Crossover Chart since March 2012. Their astonishing vocals are reflected in their album and DVD IL Volo Takes Flight - Live From the Detroit Opera House which include a mix of reimagined classics and original material.
