After Kanye West suffered a meltdown and had uncontrollable outbursts recently, Kim Kardashian is stepping in as the decision maker of the family. Kardashian is trying to mellow things out by not letting her husband appear at any public events like Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party.
“Simply put, Kim didn’t want the headache of going to any Oscar parties because she didn’t want Kanye to make any outbursts or to make a scene and be the center of attention,” the source revealed to HollywoodLife exclusively.
Although the 35-year-old reality star loves and supports her husband, she just can't seem to trust West yet to be seen in public. Kardashian is just trying to avoid another feud that may start if she allows the 38-year-old rapper and fashion designer to attend the bash.
“Ye’s been making headlines for the past weeks for his tweets and feuds," the source continued. "And while she’s 100-percent on his side, she didn’t want to be asked any questions about his feuds or worse – she didn’t want anyone to piss off Kanye and set him off."
Even though Kardashian is a popular public figure and she deals with controversies almost every day, it appears that West's meltdown is just too much for her to handle. As much as possible, she wants to be out of the hot seat and stay under the radar for now.
"She didn’t want all the drama that night," the source added. "She wasn’t in a good mood and she’s still hasn’t gotten her perfect body back. As much as she and Kanye love being the center of attention, she decided to let the other girls have the spotlight that evening.”
