Tara King is one lucky lady for nabbing the man everyone is dying to date: Superman himself, Henry Cavill. The actor brought his student girlfriend as his date to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on Sunday, marking it as their first red carpet appearance as a couple.
Cavill, the 32-year-old Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star, looked dapper in his black tux, while King, 19, stood out in a bright orange column dress with draping at the side.

Cavill opened up about his 13-years-age gap with King to Elle Magazine last month. “People say age is just a number. It’s actually a real and true sign of someone’s maturity. But in this case, she’s fantastic,” Cavill told the mag. “When I met my girlfriend, I was superintimidated. I wanted to impress her. I was thinking, ‘Don’t mess this up, man.’”
While Cavill understands that there will be people who are going judge his relationship with a much younger woman, he confessed that he once dated a 32-year-old when he was just 19, so he knows how it feels to be on the opposite side.
