It appears that Selena Gomez is not as lucky in love as BFF Taylor Swift. But the "Same Old Love" singer doesn't have to worry because, because Swift is rolling up her sleeves to teach her a thing or two about finding true love.
“Taylor is always encouraging Selena,” a source told HollywoodLife . “She never brags about her relationship with Calvin. Instead, she reminds Selena about her own heartache and how she overcame her own obstacles and eventually met Calvin."
The 26-year-old "Bad Blood" hitmaker's advice is simple and practical: Gomez needs to remember how Swift had to deal with many very public breakups, and Swift continued to believe in love. She wants Gomez to do the same.
"She just tells her to keep believing that her time will come and not to settle," the source said. "And most importantly, to have an open mind and heart.”
HolylwoodLife previously reported that 23-year-old singer and actress Gomez would love to have a relationship like Swift and Harris. She appreciates the love that the power couple have for each other.
“Selena would give anything to be in a relationship like Taylor and Calvin’s,” the source told the site. “Their relationship gives Selena hope that she will one day have the same thing and that one day she will find her soulmate.”
Swift and Harris celebrated their one-year anniversary Sunday. The duo shared a snap of their "one-year-cake" on Snapchat.
