After their brief split, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill proved that their relationship is the real deal and appeared together in Mill's Snapchat to update their status. But his house arrest is making it hard for the couple to be together any time they want, especially now that the "Anaconda" singer is getting ready for her tour.
A few weeks ago, there were rumors about trouble in paradise for Minaj and Mill. As you know by now, the hip hop recording artist is on house arrest after he violated his probation.
TMZ reported that the couple got into a huge fight which lead to a three-week breakup because Minaj refused to move to Philadelphia with Mill while he does his house arrest stint. But after realizing that they still have mad love for each other and all they lack is a communication skill, the outlet revealed that both performers tried and work things out.
However, a HollywoodLife source exclusively revealed that Mill's desperation for Minaj to stay with him is making the 33-year-old rapper wanting to take a break from him, and her upcoming tour is the perfect opportunity.
“In just a few days, Nicki will leave for her tour and Meek is miserable. He doesn’t want her to leave," the source told the site. "He’s been smothering her to death. All he’s wanted to do is lay next to her, cuddle, watch movies and have sex. That’s cool and all, but not every damn day."
Minaj knew that she did everything to keep her man happy and now it's her time to do what makes her happy even if it means leaving him behind.
"Truth be told, Nicki can’t wait to get on tour! She’s very much looking forward to going on a Meek hiatus. She loves her man with all her heart, but damn, a sister has to breathe. It’s sad," the source revealed. "She doesn’t want Meek on house arrest. It’s making him clingy and slightly depressed. She can’t change that and what’s done is done. She’s done her best to make Meek happy at home this last week and now, mama’s ready to get back on stage where she belongs."
