Watch Joanna Newsome Perform 'A Pin-Light Bent' & Talk About Andy Samberg on Seth Meyers

In support of her new album, Divers, Joanna Newsom stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to perform "A Pin-Light Bent." Along with her featurette, Meyers sat Ms. Newsom down to ask her a few questions, one about the hilarious way she met her husband, Andy Samberg.

The beloved singer-songwriter performed the single from her latest album, of course, on the harp. On the show, Newsom mesmerized the audience with deft plucking and her nymph-like voice.

Also in the feature, Newsom explained the serendipitous and disarmingly adorable way she met her husband, Andy Samberg. Not only that, but Ms. Newsom also enlightened the audience on her desire to be an Orc from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

She said to Meyers, "I would have been stoked to be an Orc. Just a background orc chewing on a leg or something."

Ms. Newsom's most recent album, Divers, which was released via Drag City record last October, has been well-received by critics. The first single, "Sapokanikan," featured a music directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

And if you don't remember, Ms. Newsom, was also featured in the P.T. Anderson flick, Inherent Vice, of which she also narrated the trailer for.

Also on her recent television appearances, Newsome instructed Larry King how to play the harp in a segment on the host's show, Larry King Now.

So without further ado, check out Joanna Newsom on Seth Meyers below and if you haven't, be sure to pick up the album Divers on all physical and digital outlets today.
