Kendall Jenner may have not gotten the crown as the most-followed person on Instagram, but she definitely took the top spot as having the most-liked Instagram post of all time, bumping her older sister, Kim Kardashian's wedding post to second place at the time. Now, the model has revealed the secret behind her popular post on the photo-sharing app.
The 20-year-old model's most talked-about hair photo, in which her long brunette locks were placed in the shape of a heart, is what landed her in the number one spot. Jenner posted the snap back in June, and it has since garnered over 3.5 million likes.
"I was having a bad day. I wasn't in the flow. I was like, Everyone sucks. That's when I did my best image," she admitted during her Vogue magazine interview.
"I was lying in bed and messing with it," she noted. "And I thought, Is this good? And I just posted it, and I remember looking at it right away and having a lot of likes and saying, 'Huh.'"
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also shared a tip on how to get your followers interested and it is about restraint and not having too many posts. "You want to leave them wanting to come back," she said.
Although Jenner took the bragging rights of having the most-liked post on Instagram, Taylor Swift nabbed five spots on the top ten list of most "liked" Instagram photos of 2015 thanks to Calvin Harris and her adorable cat.
