For several months now, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have found themselves denying divorce rumors. While the country couple has been adamant that they aren’t breaking up, yet another tabloid is claiming that the duo is headed towards separation.
Faith recently denied rumors that she and Tim were calling it quits, when the country legend sat down with People. The country singer defended her marriage as she informed readers:
"[Rumors] seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It's perplexing. I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story. We've been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out. We don't even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is [when we] worry about the kids. But they've been around it, too, so they laugh it off."
Hill also put to rest all of those pesky baby rumors, telling Entertainment Weekly:
"No more kids. ...I can't even imagine. When we first got married...we talked about five, and then we made it three. I don't know why happiness doesn't sell. I don't know why tragedy sells and untruth sells, but again, you just have to stop buying the stuff."
It’s these denials that lead Star to claim that the marriage is over. According to a recent edition of the publication:
“Are Faith Hill and Tim McGraw headed for splitsville? No way, says the couple, but Star can reveal that the pair’s denial is just an attempt to hide the truth. Insiders say the country stars’ constant need to defend themselves is a major red flag.”
