About 'Message in a Bottle'

Alongside masterfully blending two artistic disciplines, the production also features 27 songs from the catalog of the "Englishman in New York" himself and 17-time Grammy-winning musician, Sting, which includes "Every Breath You Take," "Roxanne," and "Fields of Gold," among others.

In a promotional video for the production's upcoming New York debut, Sting said: "Message in a Bottle is a universal story of survival and community told through my music and some of the most brilliant contemporary and street dancing I have ever seen-it's truly extraordinary, and I cannot wait to see it again when it arrives right here at City Center."

The production itself is chiefly inspired by the British rock icon's "Desert Rose," and tells the story of three sibling refugees driven away from their home by war.

This narrative of humanity and hope is told through the masterful movement of world-class dancers, which is underscored by the musical arrangements of Alex Lacamoire ("Hamilton," "Dear Evan Hansen") and Martin Terefe.

These rearranged tracks were then recorded by Sting and other guest artists like Olivier-winning singer Beverley Knight. Check out all of the tracks used in "Message in a Bottle" in the Spotify playlist below.

Co-producing the show is Sadler's Wells and Universal Music UK, alongside Birmingham Hippodrome and The Lowry, Salford, with research and development support from The MOVEment.
