Grammy-winning producer, creative director, and acclaimed trumpeter and vocalist Brian Newman is bringing back the spirit of classic New York City as he returns for his residency: "Brian Newman's After Dark," co-produced by his burlesque icon wife, Angie Pontani.
The residency will start at the Mastercard Midnight Theatre this coming June 7 with Newman's patented uniquely memorable performances front and center for would-be patrons.

About 'Brian Newman's After Dark'
The all-rounded entertainer promises a thrilling and highly acclaimed experience filled with amazing music and genre-crossing special guests including Pontani, the king of comedy Murray Hill, The After Dark Dancers, and a rotating cast of guest stage and screen stars.
Newman's performances will be backed by a swinging ten-piece ensemble that will underscore each unforgettable night's unique "after dark" experience. For ticketing information, click here.
The artist will put on show his instrumental mastery and musicality that he spent over 25 years developing, entertaining people in various venues such as hotels, nightclubs, and restaurants.
Although mainly influenced by the likes of jazz legends Miles Davis and Chet Baker, Newman also looks toward modern artists like Nirvana and Bruce Springsteen to learn from and develop his creativity after.
This openness to contemporary pop culture gave way to major collaborations, including working with Lady Gaga for her Las Vegas jazz band as a trumpeter and as the co-producer for the "A Star is Born" movie's "La Vie En Rose" rendition.
He also currently directs Bruno Mars' band at the Bellagio and curates performances at Aman New York's Jazz Club. As a performer, his Vegas residency "Brian Newman: AFTER DARK" is widely celebrated for evoking the classic "Sin City" flair.
