‘TVD’s’ Nina Dobrev Back with ‘DWTS’ Derek Hough After Ian Somerhalder Engagement Rumors?
Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were recently rumored to be engaged. However, new reports are surfacing that suggest the couple could be calling it quits again. Could Dobrev be getting back together with DWTS Derek Hough?
Last week, Dobrev tweeted her congratulations to her ex-boyfriend, Derek Hough:
“Congratulations @derekhough + @msamberpriley !!!!! Way to stomp, shimmy and shake your way to first place! You deserve it! Proud of you both!”
Meanwhile, Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were apart for the holiday. According to his Instagram, Somerhalder spent Thanksgiving in the dog house...literally. Around the hoilday, Ian posted a picture of his puppies along with the caption:
"This is what I just came home to...Beauty of insane proportions. How could anyone hurt something like this...? Love my babies. A s**t ton."
Somerhalder also posted a few pictures of cats, including a magazine spread of him alongside a copy of Esquire with George Clooney on the cover:
"Doesn't it look like George Clooney is admiring my pussy? I think he is... #liveinairports."
It was previously reported that Ian and Nina were getting back together. The pair recently won E! Online's Best TV Couple of All Time Tournament. Dobrev spoke with the publication after the win:
"I mean it's crazy! The Delena fans are so passionate and so enthusiastic and such rabid lovers of Damon and Elena's chemistry and their relationship that obviously we're incredibly flattered and excited about it. It is really awesome!"
However, Somerhalder teased that couple might not make it:
"Relationships are hard in real life, and they're exceptionally hard in Mystic Falls because when you have happiness in Mystic Falls, you have no drama. And if you have no drama, you have no TV show."
It has also been reported that Somerhalder and Dobrev and just friends with benefits. If that is so, then Dobrev would be free to hook up up Derek Hough.
