‘Legally Separated’ Joe and Teresa Giudice Fraud Arrest Update: New Charges Killing Teresa?

Joe and Teresa Giudice, who will be represented separately at their fraud trial, recently went back to court. The couple is facing additional fraud charges, and it appears that the stress could be killing Teresa.

In a recent edition of OK! Magazine, a source claims to have witnessed Joe and Teresa when they recently appeared in a federal court. According to the insider, the couple didn’t look like they were holding up well:

“Teresa walked in first and she looked scared to death. She didn’t sit next to Joe--she sat between two attorneys--and she seemed terrified, almost to the point that she wasn’t mentally there. After several moments, [Joe] started to look extremely worried. He kept whispering to his attorney and spinning in his chair. And he looked like he hadn’t slept all night.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time that we’ve heard the trial was taking its toll on Teresa. According to an insider who spoke with Star, Teresa actually collapsed from the stress:

“Teresa wants everyone to think she is this tough, together Italian women, but the truth is she is scared. The night before her court appearance was too much for her to handle. She felt sick to her stomach and threw up several times before she broke down crying...When she calmed down, she forced herself to drink orange juice to get her blood sugar up.”

It’s also been rumored that Teresa is planning on playing the Helpless Mother card. According to a second source:

“She has four kids, and she feels like no judge would take a mother away from her children...At this point, their legal separation is just another attempt to avoid prison time. They feel like it’s the right decision for them both.”

What do you think about the new claims? Can Teresa handle all of the stress? Do you think she’s guilty? We want to hear your thoughts in the comment field below.
