More Princess Kate Charity Work After Royal Baby Prince George Alexander Louis Christening [UPDATE]

Princess Kate was recently filmed doing even more charity work. Her latest charitable actions come after the christening of her own royal baby, Prince George Alexander Louis.

Kate looked amazing (as always) when she toured Shooting Star House Children’s Hospice. According to Express, the Duchess spent her time comforting those less fortunate:

“Kate, who is royal patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices, spent an hour and 20 minutes touring the hospice, which has beds for 10 children and daycare facilities for more at any one time...In a private room she comforted the parents of a one-year-old girl who died on Tuesday. The parents lost their five-year-old son from the same condition, spinal muscular atrophy, six weeks ago.”

Just a few weeks ago, the princess was seen at the home offices of Only Connects. According to the charity’s website, the non-profit focuses on helping ex-prisoners who have turned their life around. A description of their outreach is found on their official site:

“Only Connect is a positive community. We provide training, support and creative opportunities to help prisoners, ex-offenders and at-risk young people realise their own value. We see the people we work with as assets for London, with a contribution to make to the wellbeing of everyone in our city.”

Her charitable contributions got her some pretty hefty praise from another famous royal, Prince Charles. In a written statement, Charles praised his daughter-in-law for her contributions to the Scouts:

“I need hardly say that I am particularly delighted that my daughter-in-law has helped to swell the ranks of much-needed Scout volunteers, since enrolling many more adults as leaders is the greatest need for so many of our youth organisations.”
