Brody Jenner and Rob Kardashian have remained silent, following reports that Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have filed for divorce. This is radically different behavior than Brody and Rob exhibited when Bruce and Kris Jenner announced their breakup.
Well it’s official...at least according to TMZ...Lamar and Khloe are calling it quits. The gossip site alleges that Khloe has already filed for divorce, informing their readers:
“Khloe Kardashian has just filed court documents to divorce Lamar Odom and restore her name--TMZ has learned. As we first told you, Khloe planned to pull the trigger today on her 4-year marriage to Lamar, who has been deep in the world of drugs on and off for the last 2 years. In the legal docs, filed by disso-queen Laura Wasser, Khloe cites ‘irreconcilable differences.’"
Is it possible that this announcement caught ANYONE by surprise? The two have been the subject of numerous tabloid articles, which claim that Lamar has been abusing hard drugs and cheating on Khloe.
Their turmoil was eventually incorporated into this season's Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Rob even weighed on recent events, offering his sister some brotherly advice:
"All you can do is pray and keep trying if you want to try. If not...you have to let him figure it out. It's like you tried so many times, it's not like a week of this or a month of this.”
Rob also opened up when it came to the topic of Bruce and Kris Jenner’s separation. The reality star told Entertainment Weekly:
“Bruce has been in my life since I was 2 years old and that will never change, and same obviously with my mom…same with my sisters, there’s no bad blood. Even between my mom and Bruce there’s no negative, bad blood--I don’t think they can be in a happier place right now.”
Rob wasn’t the only one commenting either. Brody Jenner also opened up about his relationship with Kris Jenner, admitting to Now that he didn’t always trust the Kardashian momager:
“My relationship [with Kris] is getting better now, but for a long time growing up I didn’t see her that much and didn’t trust her intentions. We didn’t have the best relationship--not just with her, with my father Bruce, too.”
