Rumors that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant with her first child have waned since she was spotted on a trip with her fiance, Justin Theroux. Now a number of tabloids are claiming that the vacation was really an attempt to save their relationship and prevent canceling their upcoming wedding.
Mail Online published a number of photos that show Jen and Justin on vacation in Mexico, her favorite relaxing destination. But according to a source who spoke with the publication, they are using the time to work on their relationship:
“Jen and Justin love each other, they are fully committed. they had hoped to be married by now but work commitments this year meant their plans went astray. They have had some counseling. They both regret not spending more time together this year and they're determined that next year will be different.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only publication to claim that Aniston and Theroux have hit a rough patch. In fact, this week’s OK! claims that Aniston has turned to ex Brad Pitt for emotional support, quoting a source as revealing:
“It may be years since they divorced, but he hears the stories. He has his own network of mutual friends who tell him what’s going on in Jen’s life...Brad still knows Jen probably better than anyone in the world. He’s very perceptive and can tell she’s been having a tough time lately, which is why he decided to reach out to her.”
The insider also threw a jab at Justin Theroux, adding that it was easier for Jen to talk to Brad than her own fiance:
“Despite everything [Jen and Brad] have been through, she trusts him completely, and still says she can talk to him better than any man on earth, Justin included.”
Of course, this doesn’t preclude Jen from being pregnant. A second source told the publication that Jen is very open to being a single mom:
“She wouldn’t need a man to have a baby. Jen has always admired single parents and she thought about having a child on her own before she met Justin.”
