Will Smith, who many allege is a scientologist, recently took home another award. Unfortunately, it was for making the worst movie of 2013. His latest accolade comes after rumors that he has been cheating on his wife, and the couple is considering a divorce.
Rifftrax wasn’t the first to declare After Earth the worst film of 2013, but they may have described how Smith found himself on the list the most succinctly:
“In 2000, John Travolta laid down the challenge: ‘You will never, EVER make a big budget sci-fi vanity project with a two-word title, the second word being ‘Earth,’ as colossally awful as the one I have made.’ Thirteen years later Will Smith beat his challenge.”
Even if Will Smith’s movie hadn’t tanked, the actor would have still had a bad 2013. This is especially true, considering Star published some crazy photos of Will getting close with Margot Robbie. According to an insider who spoke with the publication:
“[Will] wasn’t acting like a married man; he gave no signs that he was in a committed relationship. What kind of married man would go into a photo booth with a 23-year-old girl and start to undress.”
The source was referencing one of the photos, which clearly shows Smith and Robbie flashing the camera. Of course, things didn’t stop there:
“Once they pulled the curtain back to take the pictures, they let their inhibitions run wild...Margot directed Will before each pose. First she ordered him to act like a gangster...Next, she asked Will to take a sexy picture with her, as she pulled up her shirt and exposed her lingerie for Will and the camera.”
