NBC is gearing up for its 2014 season with a string of highly anticipated shows. Among these series is cult comedy Community, the hot drama Chicago Fire, the second half of the highly acclaimed Blacklist and an all new season of The Voice.

NBC kicks off the new year on January 2, with the long awaited return of Community. The fifth season of the cult comedy will come with a few big changes. Not only will the class/cast be shook up with the departure of Chevy Chase, but Donald Glover will also take on a much smaller role for the new season. However, this season does mark the return of series creator, Don Harmon, to the show. The new season will also bring on Castle’s Nathan Fillion, for a very special guest appearance.

Next up is firefighter drama Chicago Fire, which will return on January 7. The show is headed up by Law and Order franchise creator Dick Wolf. Chicago Fire will also be getting the Law and Order treatment when the series first spin-off, Chicago P.D. premieres in the spring.

The highly anticipated second half of The Blacklist, starring James Spader, will be split in half once again. The show will first return on January 13 and run until February 7, when the Winter Olympics will take over. The Blacklist will once again return on February 24.

Lastly will be the Season 6 premiere of the hit singing competition The Voice. The Voice will resume its spot alongside The Blacklist on Monday, February 24. Before that. Hollywood Game Night with Glee’s Jane Lynch will fill in for the show.
