'Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry Has Baby Lincoln, Plans New 2014 Memoir [UPDATE]

By Shane Jordan on Dec 26, 2013 08:15 PM EST

Kailyn Lowry, of MTV series Teen Mom 2 fame, welcomed her second child into the world last month, her first with husband Javi Marroquin. The 8 pounds, 6 ounce baby boy was christened Lincoln Marshall, after his mother's favorite artist, the real Slim Shady himself, Marshall Mathers, better known by his stage name, Eminem. The newborn joins marginally famous older brother Isaac, Kailyn’s 3-year-old with Jo Rivera. The birth of her children and the unique choice of names will surely be covered in Lowery’s upcoming memoir that is set to come out in 2014.

Daddy Javi was reportedly an emotional mess. The new father was overcome with feelings as he held his baby boy for the first time. A close friend of the couple recently told OK! Magazine:

"[Javi] felt like he wanted to cry, because he was trying to take it all in...They bonded right from the start.”

Lowry has been working on quite a bit more than just another bun in the oven. She has set Twitter ablaze recently with talk of her new memoir Pride Over Pity, which has been in the works since 2011. As late as Dec 21, the writer announced via tweet she was finishing up the process:

“Next set of editors notes are done! #PrideOverPity is coming sooon! It's been a long process.”

When the reality star was impatiently questioned by another Twitterite as to just when the book would be ready for purchase she replied via the same medium:

“@brittcass I'll post something when I know for sure date but definitely 2014. It's going through editing right now.”

And what pray tell will be the memoir’s focus?

“ @TeenMomWetpaint @teenmomgossip Close! Not so much about being a teen mom--more about living with an addict & absent father resulting in where I am at now.”

Wow, that sound awful.
